Cost Structure Review
A full mapping of fixed and variable costs, contract commitments, and allocation gaps for firms adding staff, sites, or product lines.
Who this is for
Growing companies with 15–200 employees that have expanded headcount, opened a second location, or launched new product lines within the past 24 months—and whose owners or finance leads sense margin pressure without a clear expense breakdown.
Typical clients include regional manufacturers, distributors, professional services firms, and multi-branch retailers operating from Taiwan or with significant Taiwanese operations.
What you receive
- Category cost map — Direct labour, indirect labour, materials, occupancy, utilities, freight, IT, professional fees, and other overhead traced to business activities.
- Contract inventory — Summary of recurring vendor agreements, minimum commitments, and renewal dates affecting the next 12 months.
- Allocation review — How shared costs (facilities, management, IT) are assigned across units, branches, or product lines—and where methods distort profitability.
- Priority action list — Ranked recommendations with estimated impact ranges and implementation difficulty.

- Legal review of contracts (we summarise commercial terms; your counsel validates enforceability)
Process overview
Week 1: Discovery call, data request, and site visit scheduling
Weeks 2–3: Data analysis, contract review, and management interviews
Week 4: Draft findings shared with finance lead for factual verification
Weeks 5–6: Final deliverable, leadership presentation, and follow-up session
Preparation
Gather trailing 12-month P&L and balance sheet, headcount roster with role categories, lease agreements, and top 20 vendor contracts. If you use multiple accounting codes for similar expenses, export a transaction-level sample—we reconcile inconsistencies during the review.
Pricing basis
Project fees start at TWD 180,000 for single-site firms with fewer than 75 employees. Multi-site or multi-entity scopes are quoted after discovery. See Rates for detail.
